Texas fall is a little different, it usually doesn’t cool off until after Halloween. So dressing for the in between is very difficult sometimes. You may step out of the house in the morning and be cold but by lunch time you are warm.
For me that means dressing in layers everyday. Starting the day with a cardigan or light jacket and then shedding that when it starts to warm up.
Last week while in Old Navy I found this rust color cardigan and I was immediately drawn to it because it was such a good color for fall. It reminded me of the leaves when they change. I usually go with neutrals in my cardigans but this fall I wanted to add some color.
I styled the cardigan with a striped peplum top and some distressed jeans. I love the look, so easy to put together. I have also paired this cardigan with some black slacks and a cami and wore it to work. Cardigans are great to dress up or dress down.
